The Army Boosts Armament Software Engineering Capabilities

The U.S. Army has issued a $45 million firm-fixed-price contract to several companies to provide software engineering, infrastructure, technology and equipment requirement support to the service's Armament Software Engineering Center (SEC) Directorate. Engility Corp., Andover, Maryland; Envision Innovative Solutions Inc.,* Manasquan, New Jersey; Nexagen Networks Inc.,* Morganville, New Jersey; Polaris Alpha LLC, Colorado Springs, Colorado; Serco Inc., Herndon, Virginia; and Universal Technical Resources Inc., Cherry Hill, New Jersey will share in the award. The companies will provide services related to: software development, software sustainment, software process assurance and Armament SEC infrastructure support. Bids were solicited via the Internet with six received. Work locations and funding will be determined with each order, with an estimated completion date of July 5, 2023.
