AT&T is Helping to Rebuild Tyndall AFB's Communication Infrastructure
AT&T Government Solutions, Vienna, Virginia, has been awarded a $23,615,000 indefinite-delivery/indefinite-quantity contract for Tyndall Air Force Base Supplement Communications Recovery Effort (TSCR). This effort is for relief in rebuilding Tyndall AFB, a disaster area due to Hurricane Michael. The TSCR is to complete the holistic communication infrastructure and IT services restoration effort by delivering a modernized Wide Area Network and Base Area Network delivery solution. Work will be performed at Tyndall Air Force Base, Florida, and is expected to be complete by September 25, 2020. The award is the result of a sole source acquisition. Fiscal year 2019 operations and maintenance funds in the amount of $23,615,000 are being obligated at the time of award. The Air Force Life Cycle Management Center, Hanscom Air Force Base, Massachusetts, is the contracting activity (FA8726-19-F-0153).
