Camber to Support Guardian Chemical and Biological Defense Project

Camber Corporation, Huntsville, Alabama, has been awarded a more than $52 million contract to provide scientific, engineering and technical assistance support services for ongoing engineering, technical, logistical, analytical, training, and business management to the Joint Project Manager, Guardian (JPMG), under the Joint Program Executive Office (JPEO) for Chemical and Biological Defense. Support shall include: assistance with program acquisition management and documentation, systems engineering, general engineering support, logistics management,  installation survey, design and fielding to include training and evaluation,  information management, software development, defense information technology security certification and accreditation procedure 4,  and command, control, communication, computers and intelligence integration. Camber will also assist with developing Defense Department and inter-agency agreements and briefings that govern JPMG systems, materiel, and personnel. Support shall include: assistance with supporting existing and new start programs, operations and information management support associated with fielding new equipment under joint capability requirements, coordination with U.S. military installations and facilities and assessment support for the JPMG and Joint Product Manager, Installation Protection Program.
