Navy Adding Sonobuoy Capabilities
ERAPSCO, Columbia City, Indiana, is being awarded a not-to-exceed $9,661,244 for cost-plus-fixed-fee delivery order N0001918F6019 to a previously issued basic ordering agreement (N00019-15-G-0008) for the procurement of engineering support services, systems engineering, design and development efforts for Navy underwater active multiple ping sonobuoy qualification and testing, as well as the delivery of production representative sonobuoys. Work will be performed in DeLeon Springs, Florida (51.7 percent); and Columbia City, Indiana (48.3 percent), and is expected to be completed in January 2021. Fiscal year 2018 research, development, test and evaluation (Navy) funds in the amount of $1,766,000 are being obligated on this award, none of which will expire at the end of the current fiscal year. The Naval Air Systems Command, Patuxent River, Maryland, is the contracting activity.
