Northrop Grumman Selected to Help Defense Support Program, Providing On-Orbit Satellite and Anomaly Resolution

Northrop Grumman Corp., Azusa, California, has been awarded a $19,165,385 modification (P00026) to contract FA8810-15-C-0001 for Defense Support Program (DSP) on-orbit satellite and anomaly resolution support. This support provides root-cause analysis as a key component of the lifetime extension of DSP orbital assets, as well as mission event analysis exploitation and design reach back. Work will be performed in Azusa, California; Aurora, Colorado; and Colorado Springs, Colorado. The work is expected to be completed by September 30, 2019. No funds are being obligated at the time of award. Total cumulative face value is $100,555,710. Space and Missile Systems Center, Peterson Air Force Base, Colorado, is the contracting activity.
