Radiance Technologies Supporting Two Army Efforts at Redstone

DOD reported that the U.S. Army's Contracting Command at the Redstone Arsenal in Alabama had selected small business Radiance Technologies Inc. of Huntsville, Alabama, to provide assessment, simulation, and transition support services under one award and Army Space and High Altitude programmatic, engineering, and analysis support under another award.

In the first award, Radiance received $29,588,837 under a cost-plus-fixed-fee contract for assessment, simulation, and transition support services. Work will be performed at the Redstone Arsenal, with an estimated completion date of February 28, 2023. Fiscal year 2017 and 2018 research, development, test and evaluation; and operations and maintenance Army funds in the combined amount of $5,452,004 were obligated at the time of the award. Twenty-three bids were solicited with two bids received.

The second award is a $23,750,539 cost-plus-fixed-fee contract to support Army Space and High Altitude programs. Work also will be performed at Redstone, with an estimated completion date of August 27, 2023. FY 2018 research, development, test and evaluation funds in the amount of $796,749 were obligated at the time of the award. wenty-three bids were solicited with two received.
