Raytheon Providing Ship Computing Equipment for Navy
Raytheon Co., Integrated Defense Systems, Tewksbury, Massachusetts, is being awarded a $29,455,672 cost-plus-fixed-fee, cost-plus-incentive-fee and cost modification to a previously awarded contract (N00024-17-C-5145) to exercise options for missions systems equipment; total ship computing environment hardware; and software research, test and development; DDG 1000 class integrated logistics support and associated other direct costs to support the exercised options. Work will be performed in Portsmouth, Rhode Island (46 percent); Tewksbury, Massachusetts (36 percent); Marlboro, Massachusetts (6 percent); Port Hueneme, California (5 percent); San Diego, California (4 percent); and Bath, Maine (3 percent), and is expected to be completed by September 2018. Fiscal year 2018 research, development, test and evaluation (Navy) funding in the amount of $12,400,000; and fiscal 2018 operations and maintenance (Navy) funding in the amount of $775,000 will be obligated at time of award, and funds in the amount of $775,000 will expire at the end of the current fiscal year. The Naval Sea Systems Command, Washington, District of Columbia, is the contracting activity.
