Boeing to Support Fighters for Eight Countries
The Boeing Company, St. Louis, Missouri, is being awarded a $69 million delivery order for the procurement of integrated logistics support, for the F/A-18 Integrated Readiness Support Team Program (FIRST). The tasks include in-service engineering, information systems, technical data, support equipment engineering, automated maintenance environment, training/software integration support, provisioning, and A-D sustaining engineering service for continued support of the F/A-18 A-D, F/A-18 E/F, and EA-18 G fleet. This delivery order combines purchases for the U.S. Navy and the governments of Australia, Canada, Spain, Finland, Switzerland, Kuwait, and Malaysia. The Naval Air Systems Command, Patuxent River, Maryland, is the contracting activity.
