Jacobs Technology to Support Air Force Research Laboratory
Jacobs Technology Inc., Tullahoma, Tennessee, has been awarded a $9,837,482 cost-plus-fixed-fee contract for support to the Air Force Research Lab. Contractor will provide sufficient high quality on-site test operations, engineering and technical personnel who possess superior competence in all aspects of liquid, solid, spacecraft, emerging and pervasive propulsion as well as experimental test operations, systems integration and analysis. The primary activity will be to perform test site design, modification and build engineering analysis of test facilities and test article interaction, and report the results to the government. Work will be performed at Edwards Air Force Base, California, and is expected to be complete by September 30, 2016. This award is the result of a sole-source acquisition. Fiscal 2016 research, development, test and evaluation funds in the amount of $1,862,095 are being obligated at the time of award. The Air Force Test Center, Edwards Air Force Base, California, is the contracting activity (FA9300-16-C-0002).
