L-3 to Produce and Support Towed Array

L-3 Chesapeake Science Corporation, Millersville, Maryland, is being awarded contract modification valued at almost $8 million for the production and support of TB-34 fat line towed array. The system significantly contributes to the capability of submarines to detect, localize and prosecute undersea threats and is a critical sensor to a combat systems suite. The Naval Sea Systems Command, Washington, D.C., is the contracting activity.
