L-3 Wins $200 Million Warfighter Readiness and Training Contract

L-3 Communications Corp., Link Simulation & Training Div., Arlington, Texas, has been awarded a $200,337,000 cost-plus-fixed-fee contract for warfighter readiness and training research. Contractor will provide research, development, evaluation and validation of training approaches, methods, tool, instrumentation and enterprise infrastructure for learning and performance. Work will be performed at Wright-Patterson Air Force Base, Ohio, and is expected to be complete by January 31, 2023. This award is the result of a competitive acquisition with two offers received. Fiscal 2016 research, development, test and evaluation funds in the amount of $4,600,000 are being obligated at the time of award.
