Samuel B. Milford II is the deputy chief of the Operations Division at the Defense
Information Systems Agency–Europe in
Stuttgart, Germany.
Milford joined AFCEA in 2007, and during the past two years, he has served as the Stuttgart Chapter's vice president for programs. He has been actively involved in countless luncheons featuring a variety of senior speakers ranging from a former NASA astronaut to general officers.
Milford has contributed his time and talents to numerous chapter events, including the Summer Tech and Winter Tech expos, the annual Golf Classic and other initiatives that directly support the chapter's scholarship program, which honors both students and teachers.
The Stuttgart Chapter was the first chapter outside the continental United States to receive AFCEA’s prestigious Young AFCEAN Program Award, and it won the Harry C. Ingles Award as both a small- and medium-size chapter in 2008 and 2010, respectively. Milford's willingness to assist in all aspects of chapter operations, no matter how large or small, has contributed greatly to its success and outstanding reputation.
In recognition of his dedication on behalf of the association and his chapter, AFCEA proudly names Samuel B. Milford II the AFCEAN of the Month.
