QinetiQ to Produce Man Transportable Robotic Systems

Foster-Miller Inc., doing business as QinetiQ North America, Waltham, Massachusetts, is being awarded a $10,180,034 modification to previously awarded contract N00174-14-D-0026 to exercise option two for the production of MK2 Man Transportable Robotic System (MTRS) series robotics systems, depot-level repair parts, spare kits, approved accessories, consumable parts, reconditioning, conversions, engineering enhancements and configuration management services. The MK2 MTRS systems support the Joint Service Explosive Ordnance Division program. Work will be performed in Waltham and is expected to be completed by September 2017. No funds are being obligated at the time of award. The Naval Surface Warfare Center Indian Head Explosive Ordnance Disposal Technology Division, Indian Head, Maryland, is the contracting activity.
