Rockwell Collins to Provide Common Very Low Frequency Receiver

Rockwell Collins Inc.–Government Systems, Cedar Rapids, Iowa, has been awarded a $12,887,772 firm-fixed-price contract. The contractor will provide full-rate production of equipment for Increment 1 of the Common Very Low Frequency Receiver (CVRi1) program. Work will be performed in Richardson, Texas, and is expected to be completed by March 1, 2019. This award is the result of a sole-source acquisition. Fiscal 2015 production funds in the amount of $1,337,478; fiscal 2016 production funds in the amount of $6,536,484; and fiscal 2017 production funds in the amount of $5,013,810 are being obligated at the time of the award. Air Force Life Cycle Management Center, Wright-Patterson Air Force Base, Ohio, is the contracting activity (FA8616-17-C-0005).
