Raytheon to Provide Airborne Low Frequency Sonar System to Australia
Raytheon Company, Integrated Defense Systems, Portsmouth, Rhode Island, is being awarded an $80,830,000 contract modification to provide for the procurement of 25 MH-60R AN/AQS-22 Airborne Low Frequency Sonar (ALFS) systems for the Royal Australian Navy under the Foreign Military Sales Program. Work will be performed in Neuilly-sur-Seine Cedex, France, and Portsmouth. The Naval Air Systems Command, Patuxent River, Maryland, is the contracting activity.
