Two Companies Develop Microelectronics Security Technology
Battelle Memorial Institute, Columbus, Ohio, has been awarded a $48,721,000 multiple award, fair opportunity, indefinite-delivery/indefinite-quantity contract (FA8650-15-D-1953) for research and development. Contractor will provide for basic, applied and advanced research and development to develop, evaluate and facilitate the transition of technologies to improve the security and reliability of microelectronics and embedded systems. Fiscal 2015 research, development, test and evaluation funds in the amount of $200,000 are being obligated on task order 0001 at the time of award. Riverside Research Institute, New York, has been awarded a $48,721,000 (FA8650-15-D-1847) contract. Fiscal 2015 research, development, test and evaluation funds in the amount of $750,000 are being obligated on task order 0001 at the time of award. Work for both contracts will be performed at Wright-Patterson Air Force Base, Ohio, and is expected to be complete by September 21, 2022. The awards are the result of a competitive acquisition with two offers received. The Air Force Research Laboratory, Wright-Patterson Air Force Base, is the contracting activity.
