UK EAST CHAPTER - 12/12/2013
In December, Cameron Chehreh, General Dynamics Information Technology/Intelligence Solutions Division, provided an in-depth historical review of cloud computing and how it has disrupted the way people think about, consume and acquire information services today. He explained, in practical terms, how cloud computing has changed the way mission systems are designed, deployed and secured in an operational setting. He concluded by exploring expectations military and mission partners should place on industry to see cloud computing impact future operations. Chapter members were encouraged and intrigued to look into Cloud+ certification as a way to stay ahead of emerging and developing Defense Department initiatives.
