Janis M. Norelli, small business specialist, Information Directorate, Air Force Research Laboratory, Rome, New York, served as the chapter's March distinguished speaker. She discussed the Air Force Small Business Innovation Research (SBIR) program, including SBIR goals, data rights and its contract structure. Norelli also explained the commercialization pilot program and provided examples of successful transitions to new technologies.
