BETHESDA CHAPTER CHAPTER - Apr 23, 2009

In April, the chapter awarded $100,000 in scholarships to Maryland college students. In collaboration with the University of Maryland College Park and Shady Grove campuses and Montgomery College, the chapter presented the awards to 36 students who are majoring in information technology and engineering. The scholarship recipients all are graduates of Montgomery County high schools. Funds for the scholarships were generated through the chapter's ongoing programs, including its breakfast series, conferences, and golf tournament and fundraiser.
