In April, the chapter awarded $5,000 scholarships to four outstanding high school students. Lt. Gen. Glenn Spears, USAF, deputy commander, U.S. Southern Command, presented the students with their scholarships. The chapter also presented Fred Rainbow, executive director, AFCEA International Educational Foundation, with a $5,000 check. Dr. Saeed Rajput, assistant director of mathematics, computer science and technology at Nova Southeastern University, presented on how to protect virtual identities. Patti Botteicher was recognized as the AFCEAN of the Quarter and received a lifetime membership. |
