| SOUTH CAROLINA LOW COUNTRY CHAPTER CHAPTER - May 20, 2009 |
In May, the chapter held a scholarship presentation and luncheon. This year's scholarship winners received a $3,000 award, a $50 cash prize and a free year-long membership to AFCEA. This year also marked the presentation of the first Terry Watkins Award, named in honor of chapter scholarship board member Terry Watkins for his dedication and volunteerism to the chapter and to education. His employer, Webster Data, donated an additional $1,000 in his name to the scholarship's recipient, Catherine Varnes. |
