The chapter held its annual general meeting in June at the Royal School of Signals. Brig. Phil Davies, British Army, served as the featured speaker. Brig. Davies is the integrated project team leader for the Defence Information Infrastructure Common Operating Environment, which is part of the U.K. Ministry of Defence. He outlined the challenges that have been resolved while rolling out the major information technology development across the entire ministry, and he anticipated the challenges yet to come. Retiring committee member Bill Kennedy was recognized for his many years of service to the chapter.
