STUTTGART CHAPTER CHAPTER - May 20, 2009

The chapter's May meeting focused on scholarship presentations. Four high school students received $10,000 in savings bonds, and a local teacher received a $1,000 Science Teaching Tools Award to purchase equipment for technology and communications classes.

Col. Fraley thanks Fleet Master Chief Petty Officer Roy M. Maddocks Jr., USN, senior enlisted adviser, U.S. European Command, for serving as the keynote speaker during the presentations in May. He emphasized the importance of education and of staying current with technological advancements.
