CAMP PENDLETON CHAPTER CHAPTER - Nov 18, 2009

The chapter's November luncheon focused on counter radio controlled improvised explosive device electronic warfare (CREW). Doug Boots, ITT Corporation's program manager for the force protection systems (FPS) division, gave a presentation on the division, and Barbara Tinetti, also from FPS, provided an overview of the CREW vehicle receiver jammer system that is currently in use supporting operations Iraqi Freedom and Enduring Freedom. Kent Schneider, president and chief executive officer of AFCEA International, and Lt. Gen. John A. Dubia, USA (Ret.), AFCEA's executive vice president, discussed upcoming events, including West 2010 in February.
