Golf Tournament Supports Educational Foundation

In February, the chapter hosted the 6th Annual Buck Bragunier Golf Tournament, supported by the San Diego Chapter, to raise funds for the AFCEA Educational Foundation. Approximately 150 golfers participated in the tournament, which was held in conjunction with AFCEA West 2010. More than 15 corporate sponsors supported the tournament, including ITT providing overall support and QinetiQ-North America sponsoring a barbecue dinner. Additional sponsors included American Systems, AVI-SPL, CDW-G, Copper River, General Dynamics C4 Systems, General Dynamics Information Technology, Harris Corporation, IBM, L-3, Leggett and Platt, Military Officers Association of America, Scalable Networks, Smart Solutions Incorporated and Ultimate Knowledge Systems. The tournament raised $21,000 toward AFCEA Educational Foundation activities.
