Identifying UAVs in Joint Tactical Battlespace

In February, the chapter held a meeting at Roke Manor with guest speaker Dan Page, a systems analyst from Roke Manor Research Limited. Page's presentation was on uninhabited aerial vehicles (UAVs) in the joint tactical battlespace. Providing illustrations, he covered the various roles of small UAVs at company/platoon level where they may be seen as either intelligence, surveillance, target acquisition and reconnaissance assets, communications or logistics assets, or effectors.
