Speaker Offers New Approach to ISS

The chapter held its January meeting at Chilworth Manor featuring guest speaker Air Cdr. Peter Beange, RAF, the head of programs, Defence Information Systems and Services (ISS). The air commodore discussed the portfolio approach to the future ISS program. This new approach signals a break from traditional ways of doing business and offers a more open and accountable method of system acquisition. Air Cdr. Beange described the potential pitfalls and advantages of the system. He then answered questions from the audience.
