C4ISR, Information Operations Awards Presented

The chapter presented several awards at the U.S. Naval War College, Newport, Rhode Island, in June. Essays in two categories were honored: information operations and command, control, communications, computers, intelligence, surveillance and reconnaissance (C4ISR). Lt. Cmdr. Matthew J. Baldwin, USN, won the Information Operations Award with his essay "New Media: Adapting Information Operations.” Lt. Cmdr. Justin M. Canfield, USN, won the C4ISR Award with his essay "Say Again? Lessons from Hurricane Katrina in Spectrum Management and Communications Interoperability.” Both recipients attended the College of Naval Command and Staff and graduated on June 11, 2010.
