UK SOUTHERN CHAPTER CHAPTER - Sep 16, 2010 |
Information Systems Security Threats |
The chapter held the first event of its new session at the Chilworth Manor in September. A large group of attendees gathered to hear a presentation on information systems (IS) security from Air Cdre. Bruce Wynn, RAF (Ret.), an IS consultant. He gave a lively speech where he took on the alter ego “Boris Hackenoff, the sinister hacker of Communistan,” to make a point about the range and types of viruses and other threats. Wynn concluded with an informative session on the latest practical examples of these issues. |
