Enabling Technologies Aid Air Force Command

In April, the chapter held its luncheon at the Boomtown Hotel and Casino in Shreveport, Louisiana. Guest speaker Brig. Gen. Everett Thomas, USAF, vice commander, Headquarters Air Force Global Strike Command, Barksdale Air Force Base, outlined the challenges facing the command and the positive impacts of enabling technologies such as communications, information technology and networks in supporting the United States in its nuclear enterprise.
