Top Students Receive Scholarships

In May, the chapter presented 23 scholarships valued at $3,000 each. The graduating high school seniors this year have a grade point average of 4.53 and an average SAT score of 1,884. Nine of these recipients are the top 1 percent of their classes, including three salutatorians and one valedictorian. In addition to the high school senior scholarships, the chapter presented two veteran scholarships. This year's scholarship awards totaled $76,000. In the last five years, the chapter has presented more than 86 scholarships worth more than $250,000.
