Event Highlights Small Businesses

In April, the chapter partnered with Team Space and Naval Warfare Systems Command (SPAWAR) to host the second annual Veteran-Owned Small Business/Service-Disabled Veteran Owned Small Business Tech Match in San Diego. More than 100 people from government and industry attended to discuss future business opportunities based on current technology needs and how small businesses might be able to address them. The day was highlighted by a speech from Rear Adm. Patrick H. Brady, commander, SPAWAR. His addresses gave small businesses an opportunity to connect with various SPAWAR program managers, contract and small business representatives.
