Panel on Government Leadership

In December, the chapter hosted a discussion titled “The Next-Gen Government Leader.” Jonathan Benett, program manager, Supplemental Nutrition Assistance Program, Food and Nutrition Service, U.S. Department of Agriculture, moderated the discussion. Panelist included: Brent Bushey, project manager, Alien Criminal Response Information Management System, Department of Homeland Security; James Jones, chief program officer, Recover, Accountability and Transparency Board; Charles Sanders, integration manager, NASA Goddard Space Flight Center; and Laura Stanton, director of process improvement and communications, General Services Administration. The discussion gave insight into the steps federal agencies have begun taking to foster the next generation of leadership. Attendance at the Bethesda North Marriot and Conference Center was more than 240. As always participants arrive in time to network before the panel.
