Lifetime Members Recognized |
During the January membership luncheon, the chapter honored two new lifetime members. Fred Moffitt, Moffitt Automotive of Shreveport/Bossier City, and Andy Thomson, Northrop Grumman Corporation, were recognized for their donations to the chapter's scholarship fund. Each received a lifetime membership certificate and Founding Father pin. Their names were also added to the chapter's “Friends of AFCEA Wall of Honor.” Founding Father status is warranted for those contributing $1,000 or more to the chapter. |

 In January, Tom Gwaltney(l) , regional vice president, and Kelley Crooks (2nd from l), regional vice president, join Lt. Col. Curtis Juell, USAF (r) chapter president, to present Fred Moffitt with a lifetime membership certificate and lapel pin and to recognize him as a Founding Father of the chapter. Both regional vice presidents were in attendance as the chapter was realigned from the Mid-South to the Texas region effective January 2012. |
