Speaker on Future Challenges |
Cindy Moran, director of the Network Services Directorate at the Defense Information Systems Agency (DISA), served as the guest speaker at the chapter luncheon in April. Moran encouraged the audience with a vision of the future, outlining issues DISA has working with coalition forces, reduced budgets and cloud computing. The chapter received the Harry C. Ingles Award for chapters that have most significantly contributed to the goals of AFCEA. In addition, Gus Anderson, chapter corporate vice president and program manager for DRS, won the much-coveted Regional Meritorious Service Award for his work with the chapter's corporate sponsors. |
