PENSACOLA CHAPTER CHAPTER - Nov 12, 2012 |
STEM Student Recognized |
In November, the chapter recognized Aletheia Lynn Zambesi and bestowed her with the AFCEA Ralph W. Shrader Diversity Scholarship on behalf of the AFCEA Educational Foundation. The Ralph W. Shrader Diversity Scholarship for graduate-level science, technology, engineering and mathematics (STEM) majors was established to provide educational opportunities for talented individuals pursuing advanced study and to acknowledge and honor the unique contributions of Dr. Ralph W. Shrader, president, Worldwide Technology, Booz Allen Hamilton. Shrader champions increased opportunities for women and minorities in the communications and electronics fields. The AFCEA Graduate School scholarships seek to reward excellence for demonstrated effort at the master's level of study, rather than the potential for such excellence. |
