Lunch and Learn Addresses Physical Security |
In December, Jason Gay, senior systems engineer at Enterprise Computing Services LLC, conducted a hands-on lunch and learn on physical security at CoHabitat in Shreveport, Louisiana, as part of the chapter's Young AFCEAN Continuing Education Lunch and Learn series. Gay is a Certified Ethical Hacker (C|EH), a Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP), a Cisco Certified Network Professional: Security (CCNP Security), and he holds GIAC Assessing and Auditing Wireless Networks (GAWN) and COMPTIA Security+ certifications. Participants were delighted with hands-on lock picking training as Gay emphasized the criticality of the often-overlooked physical security discipline. Approximately 30 military and industry professionals attended the event and can claim 1 hour of continuing education credits toward their professional certifications for their participation. |
