New Information Technology Strategy Discussed |
The chapter kicked off its annual program with a symposium title "Service Orientation in Information Technology: New Hype or Something Useful?" Approximately 110 information technology experts met in Wachtberg, Germany, nearby Bonn to exchange thoughts on service-oriented architecture (SOA) for processes in the military. This concept allows for more flexibility in information technology services, and therefore it is part of the German national armed forces information technology strategy. |
