Seminar Covers Demilitarized Zones

In March, more than 80 professionals met during the 42nd chapter security seminar focused on demilitarized zone (DMZ) concepts. The chapter's Cyber Security Working Group and the National Police Academy of the Czech Republic organized the seminar. Six speakers, mainly from industry, presented their views about traditional and modern DMZ concepts; bring your own device; and network security. Some speakers focused their remarks on recent distributed denial of service attack issues and presented some solutions. During the seminar, Josef Strelec, chapter president, presented an AFCEAN of the Month pin to the chapter's March winner, Josef Pozar, dean, Faculty of Security Management.
