Network-Centric Operations |
Vice Adm. Nancy E. Brown, USN, director for command, control, communications and computer systems (C4) systems/J-6, the Joint Staff, was the guest speaker at the Seoul Chapter's luncheon in November. Adm. Brown spoke about the Joint Chiefs of Staff network-centric operations campaign plan. She explained that the vision of the Defense Department J-6 is to bring true combat capability to the warfighter via joint network-centric operations (JNO). JNO is a combat multiplier that leads to an integrated global network. This network enables sharing of the right information at the right time, stated Adm. Brown. |
