San Diego Chapter Awards $10,000 in Scholarships to Grad Students

In June, the San Diego chapter welcomed Saura Naderi, a graduate student from the University of California, San Diego and founder of My Lab, a program designed to give young students who show an interest in engineering an opportunity to experiment and gain hands-on knowledge of the subject. Subsequently, the AFCEA San Diego chapter awarded $5,000 each in scholarship money to two prominent graduate students who are pursuing their careers in math education. The recipients were Ashley Sprigg and Linjue Cao.
