Cybersecurity in the U.S. Army

At its luncheon on April 24, the chapter hosted Howard Taylor, National Security Agency visiting professor at the U.S. Military Academy at West Point, as its guest speaker. Taylor addressed recent cyber incidents making the news and established a framework of reference for categorizing them from nuisance to an act of war. He also described ongoing cyber initiatives within the U.S. Army, including the establishment of the Army Cyber Institute at West Point. One hundred forty-five attendees were significantly enlightened on this very important subject.
