Chapter Awards Scholarships |
During the September general membership meeting, the chapter awarded five $1,000 scholarships to high school students. Winners of the Lift Off Scholarship included Emily Genet, a graduate of John Hardin High School who plans to pursue a degree in pharmacy at Cedarville University; Rebecca Isaacs, a graduate of Faith Homeschool Group who plans to pursue a degree in chemistry at Western Kentucky University; Joshua Newton, a graduate of Central Hardin High School who plans to pursue a degree in mechanical engineering at Western Kentucky University; Benjamin Pinkley, a graduate of Faith Homeschool Group who plans to pursue a degree in chemistry at Union University; and Eileen Thanitanont, a graduate of Jefferson County High School who plans to pursue a degree in biochemistry at the University of Illinois at Chicago. |
