Golfing for STEM

The chapter held its fourth Annual Golf Tournament in coordination with the local Defense Information Systems Agency (DISA) community in September. A total of 23 teams participated. The day consisted of golf, a firetruck ladder golf ball drop, flight awards, incredible prizes, networking and tons of fun. The chapter raised more than $7,500, an increase of more than 113 percent from last year, to go toward scholarships for students involved in science, technology, engineering and mathematics (STEM) programs.
