Luncheon Commemorates Army Birthday

The chapter, in conjunction with the Tobyhanna Chapter of the Association of the United States Army (AUSA), hosted an Army birthday luncheon in June at Tobyhanna Army Depot. The guest speaker was Lt. Gen. Bob Wood, USA (Ret.), AFCEA executive vice president, who spoke about the formation of the Continental Army 240 years earlier and topics of interest to the professional development of AFCEA members. Upcoming AFCEA events were featured as were thought leadership highlights in the areas of technology offset, cybersecurity and cyber resilience. Work force training opportunities were addressed during a question-and-answer session.
