Young AFCEANs Discuss Government's Digital Transformation

The chapter's Young AFCEANs met in September for a discussion about changes through disruptive information technology innovations in government. Capt. Peter Nelte, deputy social media manager of the German Armed Forces newsroom, outlined the social media strategy of the armed forces. Thomas Vehmeier, digital transformation consultant, showed what is to come—many disruptive changes have not yet reached government bodies.
