Small Business DISA Procurement Program

The chapter sponsored a sold-out Small Business DISA Procurement Program in February at Bloomberg Government in Washington, D.C. A moderated panel comprised of government and industry experts advised on capture strategies, proposal preparation and RFP content. The panel was moderated by Evelyn DePalma owner of EMD ProConsulting LLC. The last six years of her government career she spent dual-hatted as the director for procurement at the Defense Information Systems Agency (DISA) and the chief of the Defense Information Systems Technology Contracting Office (DITCO). She was the senior procurement executive at DISA, the head of the contracting activity and the source selection authority for all competitive contracting actions over $10 million. Panelists included Michael Devine III, president and CEO of Agility Development Group; Douglas Packard, procurement services executive chief, Defense Information Technology Contracting Organization Defense Information Systems Agency; Sharon Jones, director, Office of Small Business, Defense Information Systems Agency; Jeffrey Shen, vice president and general manager at Red Team Consulting; and Daniel Snyder, government contracts analyst at Bloomberg Government.
