Program Management Professional Certifications |
The chapter sponsored Col. Lou Ramos, USAF (Ret.) to come and talk about Program Management Professional (PMP) Certifications to Shaw Air Force Base professionals in April. Col. Ramos has over 30 years of knowledge and experience directing diverse groups with dissimilar skill sets and a variety of educational levels. His experience encompasses communications engineering; communications and computer technology operations and maintenance; program management; training; financial planning; budget execution; contract management; briefing preparation and delivery; and resource management. In his presentation he covered the following: PMP certification; Project Management Institute (PMI); PMP certification process; PMP eligibility requirements; maintaining credentials; and PMI chapter affiliation. |
