Golf Tournament Raises More Than $26,000 to Support STEM Scholarships, Grants

More than 100 veterans and industry and government representatives came out to support the fourth annual AFCEA Belvoir Education Golf Tournament in April at the Fort Belvoir Golf Club. The tournament raised more than $26,000 for the AFCEA Belvoir Education Fund, which provides science, technology, engineering and mathematics (STEM) scholarships and grants for local students and schools. Chapter board members are grateful for the fantastic turnout, generous sponsors and beautiful weather after much rain in northern Virginia. While the chapter's primary goal is to raise money for the education fund, it is always a pleasure to see folks from industry and government bond on the golf course.
