Chapter Gives $41,000 in STEM Awards to Students, Teachers |
In May, the chapter distributed more than $41,000 in scholarships and teaching tools during a luncheon. Students pursuing science, technology, engineering and mathematics (STEM) degrees received scholarships ranging from $1,000 to $3,000. Industry partners ANDRO Computational Solutions, Alion and SRC donated to the scholarship program. The chapter awarded $3,000 to provide two scholarships for Project Fibonacci, a STEM leadership conference for local high school students. |
